As I was reviewing my collection of photos from the Portland Japanese Garden (highlights from all the years and seasons are in the Japanese Garden Gallery), the images of the Moon Bridge reminded me of our trip to France in the summer of 2019 when we visited Monet’s garden in Giverny. I dug out some of those photos from the pre-blog era, and added photos of some related paintings we saw in the previous days in Paris. I also included a few of the flowers we saw in Normandy over the following few days, and one of what baguettes look like when they’re very young.
