What I wouldn’t give to see one of those Carolina wrens! It’s nice that you got some walking in while you were there. Would love to see a cardinal next to that Eastern bluebird!

  I think Nancy got some Cardinal photos with her phone. I struggled to get a decent shot through a window with an unfamiliar camera — never quite got it. Beautiful birds, a rare treat for me, but the locals seemed to think of them the way we think of scrub jays.
