Our first visit back to the Portland Art Museum after their major remodel. What a great job: lots of spaces to showcase the collections and exhibitions, with easy flow between the spaces. And the collection was exceptional: the David Hockney exhibition was world-class, and other collections showcased artists, or styles, or cultures. One of my favorite museum experiences, in our own backyard. We’re now members, and heading back again soon.
